    After boiling in the kettle, the water is allowed to cool for about 5 minutes to reach the optimal temperature between 70-80 °C.
  2. Amount of green tea:
    – 1 teaspoon of green tea is added to 2.5–3 dcl of water
    – 1 tablespoon of green tea is added to 1 liter of water.

Black tea – proper preparation

Water temperature:
After boiling in the kettle, the water reaches a temperature of 100°C.

Amount of black tea:
– 1 teaspoon of black tea is added to 2.5 dcl of water
– 1 tablespoon of black tea is added to 1 liter of water.

Keeping black tea in water:
Black tea is kept covered in water/strainer for 2-5 minutes, and then strained. During these few minutes, antioxidants (catechins) come to the surface and have a better effect on the body when the tea is drunk.

Although it is tasty without additives, you can add a drop or two of milk and a little sugar to black tea preferably brown. This is one of those teas that, as a rule, is not drunk with lemon and honey.

Fruit tea in general

Fruit tea does not originate from the tea tree bush (camellia sinensis), does not contain theine (caffeine), and therefore does not belong into real teas. This makes it a suitable drink for people of all ages, including children. Because they do not contain theine or caffeine, fruit teas can be consumed in unlimited quantities, either as hot preparations or chilled . They can stand for 24 hours, which makes them suitable in the warm spring and summer months as a refreshing, cold “ice tea”.

Fruit tea – proper preparation

Water temperature:
After boiling in the kettle, when the boiling subsides, put the tea in the water.

Amount of fruit tea:
– add 1 teaspoon of fruit tea to 2 dcl of water
– add 1 tablespoon of fruit tea to 1 liter of water.

It has a distinctive taste, slightly earthy aroma (special processing).

It is best to consume tea during the day, especially in the morning (awakening – focus, digestion), during the day before and during physical and mental activities.

Oolong (wulong / wu-long) tea in general

Oolong (wulong or wu-long) tea is among the healthiest teas, popularly called “fat killer” (high cholesterol, weight loss without dieting, to speed up metabolism). According to the degree of fermentation, it is between green and black teas. It has less theine (caffeine) than black tea and more than green tea.
